This week the girls take aim at weird Guinness world record entries...

This week the girls discuss some of the weirder entries in the Guinness book of world records. By the end of this episode, the girls are most likely going to compete in a category, send help...

But first, what were we drinking?

Sarah was drinking Cass Beer

Available from Dan Murphy's

Amy was drinking Jen Pfeiffer Sav Blanc

Bianca was drinking her new favourite gin from Sarah

Available from BWS

Amy introduced tonight's topic by telling our lovely listeners what the Guinness World Records are and how they were established. Amy then discussed her weird record she came across as being the most championship wins in a little-known "sport" called gurning.

Here are some pictures of people pulling off a gurn

The champion herself, Anne Woods

Sarah didn't do her homework so did a quick one on the most weight lifted with a human beard. The question is why?

Link to Sarah's fun fact - What were chainsaws invented for?

Bianca had just a few random ones she wanted to chat about;
  • Most apples held in their own mouth and cut with a chainsaw in one minute.
Wang Lei (China) in Dezhou, Shandong, China, on 30 November 2020

  • Most wins at the World Beard and Moustache Championship.
MIDDLE: Karl-Heinz Hille (Germany).

  • Not only does Australia have the largest camels in the world but we also have the most feral camels living in the wild. The camel population at last count was 750,000.

  • The world's first full-length feature film was The Story of the Kelly Gang, made in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1906.
