This week the girls take aim at Musical Films from our childhood...
But first, what were we drinking?
Sarah was drinking nothing... damn fun police!
Amy was drinking Jen Pfeiffer The Rebel Bubbles NV
Bianca was drinking Four men and a shed Montepulciano
Available from Naked wines
Bianca discussed the musical movies; Grease 1 & 2.
Bianca then announced that Grease 2 was better than Grease 1.
Better actors aka Michelle Phiffer, better songs, better storyline, and Michelle Phifer. OKOK grease 1 had John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, and Stockard Channing… but that's all it had going for it.
Grease 1 was one of those movies that was always chucked on by the teacher at the end of the year. All school work was done and they were just killing time.
Can't say Bianca didn't sing every word and say every line. Coz she did. It's just grease 2 had a lot more humor and was a better movie all round
To understand the premise of Grease 2, simply take everything you know about Grease 1 and reverse it. They literally just made the girl the tough one, and the boy the straight-laced outsider from another country. I’ve seen Twitter bots more considerate of narrative than that.
The film takes place 2 years after Sandy and Danny drove off into the clouds.
If anyone feels differently about her view on these movies... Feel free to reach out on all our socials or

We look forward to hearing from you.
Sarah grew up watching a lot of old movie musicals thanks to her beautiful nanna who would babysit her older sisters and Sarah when Sarah's mum had to work. Nanna would let them take turns picking what movie they watched, but that was only after her shows had finished. So without further ado Sarah ran through a couple of her favs...
