This week the girls took aim at Weird Syndromes...
But first, what were we drinking?
Bianca was drinking Brown Brothers Cienna:
Available from BWS
Sarah was drinking: Innocent bystander's pink Moscato
Available from Dan Murphys
Amy was drinking Jen Pfeiffer's sav blanc
Available from Naked Wines
Amy opened by discussing what a syndrome is, how they get their names, and how many there are out there.
Amy also discussed Cotard's Syndrome also known as the walking dead syndrome.
Sarah fills the middle by talking about the Jumping Frenchmen of Maine, a syndrome named after a group of lumberjacks in Maine.
Bianca closed out the show with Capgras (KAP-Graph) Syndrome, this syndrome can afflict anyone and we collectively agreed would be terrifying.
We heard the story of Mrs. D. and how she was affected. Then we had some fun with a script from the movie JFK.
Lawyer: Isn’t it true that you routinely fingerprint your daughter when she leaves for college?
Witness: Yes.
Lawyer: And isn’t it also true that you fingerprint her again upon her return from college?
Witness: Yes, I do.
Lawyer: Why do you do that?
Witness: Because I want to make sure that the daughter I get back is the same daughter that I sent off to college.
You'll have to listen to the episode to find out how that went!
